Lemons are loaded with juice, but sometimes it takes a little effort to extract it. First things first, choose a lemon that is firm yet pliable. If it doesn’t give slightly when you squeeze it, chances are the lemon will contain very little usable juice.
To get the most juice from your lemon:
- Roll the fruit beneath your palm and fingers for about 30 seconds.
- Cut lemon across the middle.
- Extract pips/seeds using tip of knife.
- Squeeze juice into container.
