When you visit late at night, check your serious attitude at the bright yellow door and prepare yourself for a night of tongue-in-cheek humor, hard liquor and serious munchie food. Enter and walk past the actual Winnebago into an indoor trailer park, bar, karaoke den and fine dining establishment. (Can you see me grinning?)
So let’s talk about that food. Under the watch of Executive Chef Pauly, Butter is the proud home of “ground breaking application of the latest in radiated cuisine. Tasty, homecooked selections just like your babysitter used to make.” On the menu? Deep-fried PB&J, Tater Tots and a whole can of Spaghettios. Seriously. Check it out. And do not leave Butter without trying Pauly’s legendary nubby bacon shot, served on a plastic tray right from his trailer chuckwagon. It’s hot crumbled bacon topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. All in a shot glass and served right when the liquor in their very potent drinks has kicked in.
Speaking of drinks, the intoxicologists at Butter know how to serve them. Try the Latch-Key tea (a strawberry soda version of the Long Island Iced Tea), but when you’re on your second one past midnight don’t say I didn’t warn you that the bacon shots are just about the tastiest thing you’ll ever eat.
