Deep-fried Coca Cola.
I’m not kidding. A culinary entrepreneur – Mr. Abel Gonzales Jr. – had the grand idea to deep fry America’s favorite refreshment. He whips up a Coke batter, deep fries it, drizzles it with Coke syrup and tops the whole thing off with cinnamon sugar, whipped cream and a cherry. He debuted this invention at last year’s State Fair of Texas to hordes of hungry/thirsty fans.
Can’t say that I’ve tried it, but curiosity alone might compel me to take just a taste if it were handed to me. On a silver platter, of course.
